The Architect’s Chair is an international competition ran every year, and is inspired by the traditional values seen in the furniture from historic architecture practices.

 

This submission looks at traditional kitchen furniture, and mixes it with conventional pieces from the likes of Herman Miller, whilst sharing values from Ikea. The outcome is an extremely comfortable set of chairs, designed for assembly and disassembly and transport.
